Question about Ironman Exerpeutic TF1000 Walk to Fitness Electric Treadmill

Open Question

Exerpeutic treadmill error code 1.7

I moved the treadmill from one room to another. I checked the plug and it does work. When I turn on the treadmill at the power button, the display comes on. For just a moment it flashes 1.7 on the middle of the display. Then it goes to the normal display. However, even with the safety key in place, the belt will not run. When I push the On/Off button on the handlebar, nothing happens. Same with the Quick Start button on the console. If I push hard, I can make the belt move, and the speed sensor shows some bars, indicating it is moving. But that is all. Nothing else that I push or do, alone or in combinations, produces any results. I have removed the motor cover, as per the video on your website. I have looked at and adjusted the speed sensor. Nothing. I have tried various combinations of pushing the buttons on the console as per things I have seen online that talk about a reset or recalibration. Nothing. The display does not change at all. The only thing that it does show is my Pulse, when both hands are on the sensors on the handlebars. That's it. I really want this to start working again, but will need some assistance.

SOURCE: Ironman Triad motor cover will not come off

To remove the motor cover (#19 from parts list), you have to remove the follow items first:
- Left and right fenders (#20 and #21 from parts list)
- Left and right sideboard covers (#49 and #50 from parts list)

There are 4 screws holding the cover - 2 at the front and 1 on each side. Be careful when you lift the cover, the circuit breaker cable is attached to the cover.

Finally, you may want to reconsider doing that. There is nothing under the cover that requires maintenance. The big *** motor is driving the front tread roller through a belt. The roller has sealed bearings that do not require oil.

What's the problem of error 1 on my york t520i treadmill that stopped working, I need your help please.

Error 1: Speed sensor error Turn the power switch off and on again to reset the treadmill. If the treadmill returns to normal operation, you may continue to use the treadmill. If treadmill does not return to normal operation, then call the dealer for advice.
ERROR 1 CODE This is a safety feature that can stop the treadmill from functioning. This error can occur because the computer is not receiving the correct information from the speed sensor located near the motor. As a precaution the computer stops the treadmill until it begins to receive the correct feedback. By performing a few simple checks, the error can be cleared quickly and easily, and the treadmill can be ready for use. The treadmill does not move and displays "ERROR 1" Switch off the treadmill at the mains, and then switch it on again. If "ERROR 1" still shows switch off and push the running mat round (1 cycle) using your feet. Then switch back on. If "ERROR 1" still shows, then UNPLUG from the mains and check all of the wire connections made during the assembly. (SEE BOLD PRINT) UNPLUG If the treadmill still does not move, then please contact the helpdesk. Doing this may reset the program error, and the treadmill will be ready to use. This should reset the sensor, and the treadmill will be ready to use. Once the cables have been checked, turn on the treadmill again. This should eradicate the problem. 1. 2. 3. When assembling, there are several cables that need to be connected. It is very common for these cables to look like they are connected when they are in fact not fully connected. Make sure that these cables are connected as tightly as possible. The connections may have come apart whilst assembling the treadmill. here is a link to your treadmill web site http://www.yorkfitness.com.au/uploaded/pdf_71T520i%20Treadmill_5562.pdf
