Question about Miele Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
The more milk in the option you choose, the less hot the drink. You can set the water temperature, but you don't seem to be able to adjust the milk temperature. Any ideas?

SOURCE: Steamed milk
I've just taken delivery of an S9 and my lattes were lukewarm too. What you have to do is move the dial on the steamer to the 3 o clock position. See http://cdn2.libsyn.com/coffeegeek/jura_frothxpress.mov?nvb=20081110133816&nva=20081111133816&t=018ee7ad85c33f422c6a5 . Latte I just made was piping hot. If that doesn't fix it, try the Products settings. If still lukewarm I think you should contact your dealer, maybe you have a duff machine.

open the door and adjust slide for more grounds, also program prebrewing so it adds a little water to the ground to get them going before the rest of the water is pushed though.

SOURCE: primea ring - milk not hot
I had the same problem and my retailer worked it out for me when you select say cappuccino and go to the coffee quantity then the milk hold down the button that looks like a jug for over 2 seconds then the milk temperature comes up and you can adjust to low med or high now i am finally enjoying a hot drink

If you don't have the machine all that long I'd make use of the warranty. Opening it yourself will void the warranty . .
Some makes and models do have controls on the PCB which allow for water temperature adjustment and cup filling level, but you'd need to open the machine to get to them.

Tips for a great answer:
Feb 28, 2014 | Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
has a simple hot chocolate recipe that is more about the taste of the chocolate
and less about the artificial sugar.
Take 50g of
good quality dark chocolate and grate into a saucepan with 250ml of milk that
is almost at the boil. Stir the milk until the chocolate has completely
dissolved and the drink is slightly thicker.
Stir in sugar to taste and you can even add some double cream. This recipe serves one person.
