A hard reset is a last resort, by doing a hard reset you will start all over (pending your skills) you will loose all aps/ data you may have had. Remember the basics on a soft reset you need to hold volume up button and then hold power on button it takes some time for the unit to boot, this is intentional.

Can you please try a factory reset on the device, Connect the USB lead to the tablet and your computer please leave for 10 minutes remove the cable power down the unit if the unit powered up, press and hold volume + also power keep held until you see the bees, release both keys. Use volume - navigate down to wipe data / factory reset Press power Use volume - navigate down to yes -- delete all user data Press power After formatting system will be back at the menu Press power to reboot system now.
