You cannot simply swap simcard as such in your phone, your phone must be unlocked to the new sim card, You can unlock your phone using unlock code that will be available at any vendors online like

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

HOW TO REPLACE MY SIM CARD

It is a good idea to describe brand and model when querying. An iPhone does not store data on a SIM, rather it stores it only on the phone. An GSM Android phone stores contacts and carrier information on a SIM card. If you swap an Android sim card between two unlocked Android phones, you swap phone numbers! Now, if you want to put the data from one sim card on a new one, you can do that with a computer which you have added a card reader to.. However, your carrier (such as Vodaphone in Australia or Verison in the USA) likely would transfer that information to a new card for you if you go to their brick and mortor store.) Some non-GSM SIM card are "locked" to the particular device and you could not swap them between phone simply by inserting them in the other phone. You haven't indicated why you want to replace the SIM card and the answer to that would determine the direction of any further elaboration. You've not really provided enough information about your phone, such as carrier, brand, and model and reason for replacement for me to advise you. But you can try googling "that set of facts and "sim replacement" and you might pop up your answer if you don't want to go to the phone store.

How do i change my phone number in settings

You activated a new number on an old SIM Card? Or you swapped to a new SIM that has a new number?

If you put a new Number on an OLD SIM it might be best to get a new SIM. I've seen this before and haven't seen anyone successfully get it changed as the field is not editable.

If you have a new SIM with a new Number, you might want to try a factory reset.

Your trusted number was probably linked to your first SIM card. Do you still have that SIM card? If so, swap it back in, then disable the software, and swap back to your new SIM. You should then be able to reactivate the software. Be sure to change your trusted number to one not linked to your phone.

Showing Sim memory full even after deleting all the things from sim.

ensure that the phone memory in use settings is set to Sim card.
get another Sim card, insert it to the same phone to know if the problem is from the Sim card.
if the problem continues, then you'll know its from the phone..
then you'll need to format the phone..
but if the problem doesn't come up with the new Sim card,
then you'll know that your Sim is faulty..
report to your customer care and request for a Sim swap..
AND THAT'S ALL

I lost all my photos after swapping simm card from i776 to i880. Is there any way to retrieve them? PLEEEAAASSSEE HHHEEELLPPP!!!!!!

Did you send any of them via picture mail? If so they should be saved on your carriers server depending on how long ago they were sent. Check your online account or contact your customer care department to find out the specifics of their picture mail site or database (e.g. www.sprint.com/picturemail for Sprint or Nextel accounts, Verizon's site seems to be down). If not, the sim card probably reset itself during the swap to match the software requirements of the new phone. If these don't assist then I am sorry to inform you that they are likely lost for good. In the future be sure to save your pictures to an external memory source such as a memory card or to send them to an email address prior to completing the swap. Also, I always recommend, having a sim card for every phone and keeping them with their respective devices. A store for your carrier can swap over any contacts after changing phones for you. Most carriers also sell an accessory that will swap info from one sim card to another. Hope this is at least helpful for the future if you arent able to locate your pictures. Good Luck!
