This is Bob Boyle. I posted the question. I called the 800 huber on the side of the heaters and was surprised that Grainger customer service picked up the phone. Extremely helpful and the problem was fixed in mere minutes for both units. "Dirty photo sensor" Unscrew housing pull out photo sensor assembly (no tools required) clean inside photo sensor tube and lens Put unit back together Enjoy the heat!

SOURCE: DAYTON 210,000 BTU OIL-FIRED HEATER WON T LIT UP

You write "FUEL SPRAYING AND FAN WAS WORKING"

If the fan was working, but the fan is not working now after replacing the whole kit, then something was installed incorrectly during the installation, possibly the rotor gap or rotor thickness is not correct or vane/vanes installed 90 degrees off.

SOURCE: mr heater 75,000 btu kerosene heater

I got this error when I had increased my air pressure to 5.5 lbs. Cut the pressure back to 4.5 and it has been running fine for the last three hours. At 5.5 it got WARM ... solid red hot cone and flames coming around the outside. Had been having problems with it cutting off for no apparent reason in really cold weather. Took the pump apart and cleaned it and checked for clearances and reassembled but it did not help much. Will schedule it for a total pump replacement with new filters asap. Pump parts and filter are not that bad. Should come in under $50.00
Hope this helps
I also turned the thermostat back a little off of full on.

Thermoheat dtu torpedo heater reads E1 error

These are some possible causes:
1. Wrong pump pressure
2. Dirty Air Output,Air Intake or Lint Filter.
3. Dirty Fuel Filter.
4. Dirt in Nozzle.
5. Dirty Photocell Lens.
6. Photocell Assembly not
Properly installed.(Not seeing the flame)
7. Bad electrical connection between photocell and MAIN PCB assembly.
8. Defective Photocell.

If all those check out ok, then check these:
1. No fuel in tank.
2. Wrong pump pressure.
3. Carbon deposits on spark plug and/or improper gap.
4. Dirty fuel filter.
5. Dirt in Nozzle.
6. Water in fuel tank.
7. Bad electrical connection between ignitor and MAIN PCB assembly.
8. Ignitor wire is not attached to spark plug.

Keep getting E1 error code, where is the fuel pump located? where is the fuel filter located on my dyna glo deluxe multi feul 170000 btu heater

The fuel pump is directly behind the fan motor as the fan motor runs both. The fuel filter is under the electrical control panel on the side of the heater usually has four to six 5/16 head sheet metal screws that hold it on. Remove the screws and then the cover comes off and this is where you will find the fuel filter.
