Question about HP F4480 All-In-One Printer
My printer is always on! I know that the HP 4480 has the Energy Star label, but it's dumb for this printer to always be on when I print only a few times per week. Whenever I press the power button, it doesn't even blink. Is removing the plug from the outlet the only way to turn off this printer? That seems crazy to me but, then again, all-in-one printers have proven to make no sense before!

Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
