get FFDSHOW codec from google, it's the best

You nee video codec. Go to download.com and look up "Video codecs" download the free ones. Usually you can find an all in one set. Personally I like DiVX the best but I still have random misc video players for random codecs that are not mainstream yet.

You may try downloading the VLC Player. It has built in codecs that can play almost all kinds of audio and video formats. It's also a free application. Just remember to open the file with VLC player for it to play.

The first solution is download Quicktime in Apple official website. And the second one is just get this video converter to convert your video to MP4 or WMV format and play with Windows Media Player.
