Our printer stop responding its a bizhub c550. The IP settings are static for the printer. Some how it just losing contact with our corp network. Sometimes its only a group of computers that can print out but sometimes no computers at the office can reach it. No errors in swith or cables the router can see it and also confirm that the printer have acces and correct IP nr.

It sounds like you have setup a fax forward box.
You need to set up a one touch, scan to SMB.
this can be easily done via your web browser by typing in the IP address of the MFP and set it from there.
You need the IP address of the laptop and is best to put the shared folder in the main drive (C).
Then for the file path you just need to enter the name of the shared folder EXACTLY as it is on the lap top.
You also MUST enter the ID a password to give it access.

That is your issue. If you allow it to set up using DHCP it will drop off often.
You need to set static IP addresses for the router and machine.
You have to have matching IP addresses, Gateways for it to communicate properly.
Set them permanently.

in printer you should log in as administrator and there should be network settings, where you can put in ip address and gatway and so on.

firqst: DHCP disabled
copier IP adress should be 192.168.x.y
IP Pc must be 192.168.x .z (169.254.xx.xxx is a bad address!! = No-IP address !!)
see my recommendation for the scan on a previous post (http://www.fixya.com/support/t1395654-konica_c252_scanning_address_book_job)
