Question about Samsung RF265ABBP (25.8 cu. ft.) Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator
We moved the refrigerator from one side of the kitchen to the other (6 feet) on Dec 29 after perfect performance for more than 3 years. Feb 1 or 2 we noticed that the 4-ltr bucket of ice cream we put in a day or two before was frozen so solid we couldn't dig out a scoop! We did not bump or tip the refrigerator in the move - only unplugged and replugged it into a different outlet. All else seems fine.

in the back of the freezer there is an "evaporator coil" .. that has many fine fins and is used to cool the air .. you dont normally see it because there is a panel bolted over it ... if the door was left ajar for awhile then ice forms on the evaporator and stops air from flowing thru it ... the result is that it cant cool the freezer properly ... if this is the problem then you can fix it by taking everything out ( use an insulated tote to store things or use a neighbors frig overnight .... turn your refrigerator off or unplug it ... open both doors and let it thaw out for a day or overnight ... put down towells to collect the melting ice .. you can even blow warm air into the bottom of the freezer to make it thaw faster but be careful not to overheat plastic parts .. once the unit is completely free of internal ice then it should start to work again like new ..

I understand that your ice cream inside of your Frigidaire refrigerator, FFUS2613L. I would turn down your thermostat to see if that would help correct the issue of your ice cream not freezing. I hope this helps. -Matt
