It sounds like you want to use the external amp rather than the internal one. If that is the case, just connect the output of the EQ to the input of the external amp. All you are doing is inserting the EQ between the amp stages now. Using the mx-1 rather than the internal amp is no different.

If you don't have any speaker wires hooked up to it and it won't turn on, the only thing left to check is the internal fuse. First, make sure it's unplugged from AC, then remove the top from the receiver, 6 or 7 small phillips head screws. At the back inside corner where the AC comes in there is either one or two fuses, check them. If you have a multimeter, dial it to resistance & sound (meaning when the two probes touch you will hear a tone) touch both ends of the fuse with the probes, if you get tone, fuse is good, if not, replace the fuse and all should be well. If you get tone, you've got either bad transistors or a bad power supply. Could be a 100-200 repair. Hope this helps

Where can i find a cheap RemoteControl for my "Yamaha RXV520 Receiver"? it could be also a replica or generic. thanks, Arik

Original $61, copy $39

http://remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?v=1&o=c&o=c&a=Search&uid=0&m=rxv520&uuid=A12997127730091

The model forthe remote is RAV206.

If you lurk around eBay and search for "rav206 remote" or "RXV520 remote" and check the "include description' box, you may eventually find one for cheap.

Yamaha reciever model rx-v563 power cord

It's just a power cable. Get something like this
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3875430
and lop off the end that doesn't fit, strip them and either splice it to the remnants or go inside and connect it to where the original goes.

It is very possible the S cable is giving you problems. Is the receiver on the right input channel? Have you tried RCA's instead?

Yamaha india

hello Sir,

It was the phase between 1990-1995, when Yahama lost to Hero Honda, as v know, Yahama was an expert in 2-stroke engine bikes, as v know 2-stroke engine will yield higher power but NO good mileage, n emit more smoke.
so...GOV OF INDIA phased out all production of 2 stoke engines in the country, so yamaha had to stop the production of Yamaha RX n RD series in INDIA.

N constantly rising fuel prize, utilizing this need form d public Hero Honda's CD 100 hit the market, with 4 stroke engine n heavily improved mileage.

hence Hero honda won the race...

Although Yamaha came up with some 4 stroke models, but those didnt click it for them, but now its again yamaha's time !!

with introuduction of Yamaha R15, FZR , really yamaha is back with a bang !!

thank u so much..!!
plz vote me/ rate me ..thank u!!
