Can't fugure out how to download prperly on mp4. Need step by step instructions if possible

Your player is incapable of playing back an MP3 file. Your computer has no problem . Newer players can play back those files along with the more conventional WAV files. Older cd units cannot paly back those files.

Get a free mp3 to Wav file converter and then do the burn.

When I turn on my ipod shuffle & hit play it blinks green and orange several times and won't play

The Apple iPod shuffle is a digital music player that contains a single indicator light that relays information about the device's battery condition, computer connection and any errors the device is having. The indicator light is capable of blinking red, green or orange as well as displaying a steady red, green or orange light. The iPod Shuffle includes a Universal Serial Bus interface and buttons on the front of the device for controlling music files.

Blinking Orange A blinking orange light indicates the iPod Shuffle is receiving an update via iTunes to the device's internal components. The update could include a patch to repair an error the player encountered once before, an update to the player's file-saving software, or a combination of security, repair and software updates. Updates are free and automatically sent directly from Apple through iTunes to your iPod shuffle before a sync process starts. Disconnecting iPod Shuffle When the player's light is blinking orange, do not unplug the device from your computer's USB port this will stop the update process and possible corrupt the device's internal hard drive. Let the update process and sync process finish before clicking "Eject" within iTunes and removing the player. Disk Use Enabled If you use your iPod Shuffle as a flash drive and not as a music player, a blinking orange light means that the device is connected to your computer and ready to accept files. The "Disk Use" enabled setting is changeable within iTunes if you decide to use your iPod Shuffle for music storage instead of file storage. When set up as a flash drive, the iPod Shuffle is assigned a drive letter by your computer's operating system and the drive lets you "drag and drop" files to the device. b> Charging If your iPod shuffle's battery is completely depleted or low on charge, connect the player to your computer immediately for charging then leave it connected to receive any updates to the device's software and internal components. Its indicator light may or may not blink orange until after it is fully charged. If the battery is low on charge or completely depleted, you may receive an error stating that the iPod is corrupt or needs restoring, close the error message and let the device fully charge.

Get 'No Content" when trying to play music from yamaha Rx-a1010 receiver

Double check the actual file contents. Right click on your music files and verify that the data exists. This will be evident by the value of kilobytes the song is made of.
Next verify that your connection method to the receiver is viable...there should be either an indicator on your computer or the receiver to confirm the connection integrity.

If you find that your data does not actually exist then it would be up to your discretion exactly what to do about that as that problem is NOT relevant to the Yamaha HT receiver.

If you find that the data DOES exist, disconnect the computer from the receiver and restart the computer. Reconnect the computer and try again.

Cant find downloaded music

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.1st - You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music filesonto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them toyour MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.
There are also Freeware CD RIP programs on the Internet that add the musictitle and album title to the mp3 file automatically.
OR
Download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer, some sites willcost money to download these music files.
2nd - connect your MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The computer will see this player as an external storage device, Just copy theMP3 music files from the computer's hard disk to the MP3 player.I suggest you create a album/title folder for each CD soyou can place the mp3 music files by that artist into that folder. Then copythese folders to your MP3 player and you will be able to select and play yourMP3 music by selecting the album you wish to play.
NOTE - When the USB cable is connected to the computer, it will also charge theMP3 player's battery.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

All music files show empty-then i connected to computer, it showed files were there but wouldn't play. Erased using computer and reloaded okay but doesn't show up on list???

Hi oroberts62,
Are you sure the music files you're trying to play is of the correct format? A .mp3 extension doesn't always mean the encoding is in mpeg-3 layer audio. Try re encoding all the music files using a free encoder or converter, then seeing if they show up on the player.

Syncing with the Motorola VE240

transfer music to your phone
Before you copy files to your phone, make sure
the files are in a format that the phone recognizes. Your
phone’s music player can play the following types of
audio files: AAC, AAC+, MP3.
To prepare your phone to receive music files:
1 Insert a memory card into your phone (see
page 11).
2 Set your phone to Mass Storage mode by going to - >Settings > USB > Mass Storage.

You should be set. I was having the same problem

My ipod shuffle wont play music

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work
