A buzz in one ear and no sound in the other 'sounds' like an open connection inside the headphones. The K240-series uses three wires from the pin to the headphones. Try this link to get wiring schematics and disassembly details: http://www.akg.com/site/powerslave,id,7,nodeid,7,_language,EN,cat,11.html

Go in by the part that fits to your ear. You will need to remove the ear pad. Also the foam, you might have to force the foam off, you can glue it back when done. With them gone you should see access screws.

The wires must have been damaged so remove the casing and place extra lead on connected points and the wires well.

Hi,it might be due to the wire that has cut inside the speaker area.
You will need to open the speaker area, and check if the wires are still in place.
And also, if the wires are intact, You will need to replace the speaker inside the headphone, That will solve the problem..
Thanks for using fixya....
