Question about Tunturi T85 Treadmill

Motor Tunturi T85 overloaded

Start running programm --> normal for a few seconds --> motor stopps (message overloaded). pressed several times on/off switch --> doesn' t work no more (message motor overloaded disapeared...other message can' t remember). My father tested the motor: PACIFIC SCIENTIFIC High Performance Motors & Drives Made in USA http://www.pacsci.com/ MODEL NUMBER PRODUCT CODE SER.NO PWM 3640-5755-7 FGP 1426 07003015999 VOLTS AMPS HP RPM DUTY 130 DC 23.2 3 - 1/2 3950 CONT FIELD CLASS AMBIENT IP ENCL. WATTS PF GROUND PM -12/40C OPEN 2611 1 CASE MET VILTSTIFT: 813-4030 (vermoedellijk stock nr. fabricant loopband) Diagnose: motor met 110 volt gelijkspanning gevoed; met houten lat op vliegwiel afgeremd bij ong. 5 ampere stroomopname staat motor bijna stil - koppel veel te laag! Vermoedellijk is het permanent magneetveld door het gebruik mettertijd verzwakt. Magnetical field to low?

SOURCE: Supplier for a Tunturi T85 treadmill circuit board?

Here is a parts list for the Tunturi T85 with many available parts. I don't see a circuit board but you may be able to contact the company to see if it has a different name or if they can get it added.

PLeae RUN the software calibration for troubleshooting go under the HOOD motor and read the instruction steps, or go to instr. manual in how to enter in the s.calibration and fix it.

However you can measure the input voltage elevation motor, and lube the shafte, gear, see the photo and diagram attached.

I have a T85 Treadmill and the running platform is stuck in the highest position. A message on the display says 'check Transmitter'. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

However you can measure the input voltage elevation motor, and lube the shafte, gear, see the photo and diagram attached.

System check failed


  • Press the "On/Off" switch to turn the treadmill off.
  • 2Unplug the power cable at the bottom, base of the treadmill.
  • 3Push the safety switch in.
  • 4Plug the cable back into the treadmill and set the "On/Off" switch to "On."

    My Tunturi Treadmill ramp is stuck in the top elevation position and will not run. I get a "Auto Syncing" message, but the machine will not run. Have tried unplugging etc, but it will not exit the mode...


    Enter the testing mode after switching the treadmill POWER ON by pushing first ‘SELECT’ and then ‘SPEED DOWN’ and hold buttons pressed simultaneously.
    LED scanning mode for verifying display functionality Press ‘ENTER’ to scan DATA LINES to verify display functionality Press ‘ENTER’ to scan SACN LINES to verify display functionality Press ‘ENTER’ to scan LED’s to verify display functionality After pressing ‘ENTER’ the TIME window shows “test” and the keypad functionality can be tested (the value displayed changes when a button is being pressed) Press ‘ENTER’ to enter IO mode (TIME display shows lift motor potentiometer value, SPEED reads speed from speed sensor and DISTANCE shows heart rate pulse) Press ‘START’ to test lower board relay (a “click” sound) and then press ‘ELEVATION UP’ for 2 seconds to increase the elevation to 8%. Press ‘ELEVATION DOWN’ to decrease the elevation to minimum percentage 0% Press ‘SPEED UP’ to increase speed value and ‘SPEED DOWN’ toto decrease speed value. Press ‘ENTER’ to repeat above test or ‘SELECT’ and ‘ SPEED DOWN’ buttons simultaneously to return to the normal mode
    The lift motor calibration is done manually by following the following steps: 1. Drive the lift motor to 0% from user interface (inclination display must be 0%) 2. Switch off the treadmill and unplug the power cable 3. Remove motor cover 4. Fold up the running deck 5. Loosen two screws (A) attaching the lift motor nut (B) to the incline frame 6. Adjust the lift motor nut (B) so that there is 9 mm (.358 in ) gap between the upper end of the nut and the lift motor frame Tighten the screws (A) and verify correct elevation by measuring Adjusting lift motor to 0% position 2.76in 12% position 9.646 in measurement taken from floor to bottom of motor compartment frame.
