Question about Canon EOS 60D Digital Camera

Open Question

A couple problems w/60D body

I'm sorry in advance if I don't make sense with my problems (I don't exactly know what is wrong). #1: When I take a couple photos, the camera "freezes" after the shutter closes. On the LCD screen near the shutter button, the numbers icon just continuously flashes while the main LCD screen goes black. If i turn off the camera, the number icon continues to flash and I'm unable to get the main LCD to work. The only way I get it to stop flashing is to take the battery out and put it back. This just recently started to occur in the last week and it happens after I take 2 photos every time I have to reset the camera battery. And when it does reset, the photo that was "loading" disappears from my memory card. I have no idea what is happening or what is actually affected in my camera.

SOURCE: A95 LCD screen black and unable to take photos

I had this happen to me this morning and when I hit the DISP. button, the screen worked again. Apparently, you can toggle through 3 different screen modes with this button.

Check the metal tabs inside the notable rails as they need to touch the upper part of the rails to allow built in flash to work
Use a micro screwdriver to push the tabs up to the rail
GENTLY as that was what was wrong with my canon digital body

Canon 60d card write protected

This error is more common then you think.Since you tried most things, I only ask you to do only one thing. AFTER you saved the pictures on the card, just do a basic format (low level) in the camera. Just using the menu of the camera. You don't have to believe me, but cards formatted in other EOS cameras, yes from the same brand, can cause problems. Let alone when the card is formatted in a computer. If one or more cards work fine after you formatted them, and only one won't work, please discard this one.
Let me know if this helps.

Thomas,
You will find a small knob on the card which makes it write protect. If the issue persist try any other card.

Unable turn on canon 60D i was reviewing the photo

Remove the battery and memory card, switch the power switch on for a few seconds and then switch it off. Make sure the battery is fully charged, re-insert the battery and try to switch on again without the memory card in.

F EEwhen i put the camera on don`t shut

This means one of two things:-

1. You have not set the lens to it's smallest aperture before fitting it to the camera body; or...

2. The EE servo coupling post on the outer edge of the lens mounting flange on the body has broken off. This is a switch which senses when the lens is set to it's minimum aperture. Looking at the camera body, with the lens removed, it's at about the eight o' clock position on the outer edge of the body lens mounting flange.

1. is easily fixed:just fit the lens correctly. 2. Really needs a professional repair, but as you can get a used F60 (N60 in USA) for free these days (FreeCycle/Freegle) it's not worth doing: just fasten it permanently in the "activated" position. Do a bit of googling and you'll see what I mean.

I hope this has solved your problem, if so please rate my answer.
