Yes grease the drive shafts. there is no greasing point, you have to remove the attachment and remove the inner shafts. Heres the manual, hope it helps

Where and how many grease fittings are there?

Rudy, From the factory, the Buick LaCrosse probably had no grease fittings on it. Over time parts may have been changed, the new parts may or may not of had grease fittings. Grease fittings for steering could be found on lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends if they had been replaced. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Grease front axle u joints

I'm going to guess here & say you don't have any

My 04 Lincoln Ls has non & a cousins 05 expedition
has none that I have seen so far, unless you replace the
very common bottom ball joint failure issues ,then you get
grease fittings on Moog Parts

I would check the drive shafts though for fittings, they be
recessed & hard to see & need a grease gun adapter

Does a 201 pontiac sunfire have grease fittings?

alot of these cars don`t have grease fittings from the factory as they are considered lifetime(permanent) greased components.however this doesn`t always work.if the components have at one time been replaced then they will have a grease fitting in them that needs to be greased.

Can I obtain a diagram that defines the location of the 11 (?) frontend greae zerks for a 2000 Bravada? Jiffy Lube says none of mine will take grease and need to be replaced!

Upper and lower ball joints -4
Both ends of tie rods --4
Ider arm--2
Front Drive Shaft--1

If you just get under the truck you will see them

They have been on that type of suspension for
60 years

I would bet you have one bad fitting at most

They are a horror story you want to avoid.

When replacing a u-joint should the grease fitting face forward or back. I'm working on the drive shaft of a 1974 Ford Maverick.

The grease fitting should face the rear if replacing the trans. u-joint and forward if replacing the diff. u-joint.

PROBLEMS with drive shaft thi is the 3rd time i have to rebuild the drive shaft is a 2 part drive shaft 1time rebuild the front part and 2 times the rear part any advise why is this happening

The only thing that should kill the shaft that many times is having it out of balance. Eventually a two-piece shaft will fail but it's usually after a couple hundred thousand miles. To have three of them fail seems to suggest that when they've been rebuilt, they haven't been balanced properly afterward. Find a truckstop and have their service guys rebuild it if there's no dedicated driveshaft shop near you. Truck guys will have the knowledge and equipment to properly reassemble and balance the shaft.

How do I grease the u-joints on the back of the drive shaft? on a 2000 toyota tacoma prerunner 2.7 liter

Grease gun with an adapter that allows you to get into a tighter space. Any auto parts place will sell these. Note, that a lot of replacement u-joints have grease fittings, as some stock ones don't require grease.
