what size ratchet are those screws on the bottom access panel. Can't get them off the machine, any hints? Thanks

Thought I had that problem solved by removing a bra wire from tub drain but it was only temporary. There's a plastic ball in the head of tub drain hose & heavy wire in tub drain. Can't find a schematic to see if they belong??

Likely has debris in the filter.
Open the bottom access panel (3 screw on bottom front lip)
open the filter access and be ready for some water spill ,have towels.
clean and check the pump impellers for freedom of movement.
if you still have noise after this you may have to go deeper past the pump and remove the hoses as the debris can be past the pump now.
Or take the machine outside and run water up the pump using a water hose to clear it. be inventive

My whirlpool duet washer front loader wont wring out the clothese properly. We have replace the drain pump and cleared all the hoses and filters. It also doesn't seem to go in to real fast spin.

First, make sure your machine is not overloaded. Overloading will not allow the machine to spin out properly. Also, make sure its fairly level. Next, make sure that all the shocks on the drum are properly attached and in working order (after you pull off the access panel, the shocks are readily visible -- there are typically 4 of them, 2 in front, 2 in back). Their heads slip into a slot and then twisting them locks them in. Finally, I would pull of the drain line leading from the drain filter to the tub basin. Once its off, stick your hand up into the basin. All kinds of yuck tends to collect there, semi-obstructing the drain line, which permits more water to remain in the basin, which doesn't allow your machine to spin as quickly as it otherwise would.

I am getting a code f-02 on whirlpool duet washer. I run the diag routine and the pump motor runs but begins to make a chattering noise after a few seconds. I checked and have 120v at the motor connector...

The noise is probably debris or objects stuck in the pump filter.

Undo the pump hose and check out.

If the hose is clear, and noise is from the pump, then replace the pump.

Front load washer won't spin

not so much hte switch , but perhaps the hose that attaches teh tub to the switch, usually it rubs a gainstrear of machine and gets a hole in it, look to the hose first

Water flowing back into washer after wash

There is a back flow valve attached to the outlet port of the drain pump. It is just a small rubber flap. This sometimes comes loose or remains open due to debris and allows the water in the drain hose to flow back into the machine after the drain pump shuts off. It can be checked by removing the drain hose from the pump inside of the machine. You will lose all of the water in your machine (about 1/2 gallon)when you do this so be prepared with a bunch of towels.
