i try to format my hard disk but when it comes partion screen setup cannot access this disk.

cabiliphilli - Also check that you have the proper jumper settings (Master, Slave, Cable Select, etc.). If you have the drive set as a slave but no other drives present, your system might not see it. Michael

is this an IDE or SATA drive? also which version of windows are you using to create the partition?
