I believe you may have a draft restriction and this may stop the start up diagnostics. The draft detection switch is sometimes restricted or weak. Common problem. Tap the gas valve to see if the winter has caused the valve to seat heavily and stick.

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Page 34 and 35 of your manual, found here, describe FL0 as a flow issue most likely caused by dirty filters. Depending on the type of filter you have a good cleaning/backwash will usually remedy that. It is also possible the unit's pressure switch, which senses water flow and therefore reacts to dirty filters when present, may have failed, especially if you winterize the heater in a cold climate and leave water in the switch which can burst the diaphragm inside.

Start with cleaning the filter. If the heater still won't fire jump out the pressure switch while the pump is running to confirm the part is the problem. Assuming it is replacing it with a new pressure switch which should be under $75. The part number can be found in the rear of the manual.

Pressure switch will do exactly what you checked for, when the pump is not running. voltage on one side but not the other is normal when the pump is off. With pump on & operating, you should have voltage on both sides. One lead on the common wire at the transformer and the other checking the flow of electricity across the switches.

It sounds like your roll out sensor/fusible link is burned out. This burns out (open circuit) because of a "Reason"!!! The heater needs to be checked by a professional service company. Heat exchanger in most cases is Sooted & needs to be cleaned/desooted.

good luck

FL 7 is showing on computer screen. What does this mean?

Either the pump is not pumping enough water through the heater to activate the pressure switch, or the pressure switch or its wiring has failed.

Replace pressure switch .

Hi,
Somewhere on the panel or inside there shpuld be instructions telling what 4 flashs represent...
Could be a high limit that needs reset, a rollout switch the needs reset, or a pressure switch if you have a vent blower on that unit...
