Where to find engine number of Kia Visto Sedan model 2012?

Here are some things to try.

http://vin-numbers-location.weebly.com/apps/search?q=Kia+Visto

You could also look up Kia car engine numbers in IMAGES in Google and see some locations. Probably a dead end that eats up bandwidth.

You would think KIA would tell you.

Why is my ABS system kicking on for no reason on my 2009 trailblazer?

There is ALWAYS a reason.
Reasons that the ABS light will illuminate:
  1. Brake pads, brake shoes, rotors, or drums worn beyond allowable specification;
  2. Brake fluid level low, or brake fluid leaking;
  3. Failed ABS control unit;
  4. Failed ABS sensors at wheels

Your master cylinder could be low or your parking brake is slighty applied or not releasing all the way if your using it due to a cable hanging up

Abs light came on

First --lets make it clear ,that since the beginning of time ,there
are no idiot lights,they are there for a reason

Next-- you repair ALL things you know need replacing

Then-- check over ALL work you paid for--who knows how that
was done

Only then--do you work on the new issues

If you had no problems,then --yes--you always repair
code related issues first

Need timing gear marks for1999 Kia safia with 1.8 L engine

Below are some pictures for you. Make sure the "E" and the "I" are lines up correctly on the cylinder head and ALWAYS rotate the engine at least to revolutions to double check that you marks are correct. Have had bad luck with MANY kia's being off even after I checked it and found that they were off after I put everything together. Kia's for some reason will be off so that's why I would double check. That's just my experience I have had with them. Hope this helps....

I start the car and the abs light goes off, then driving along the brake light and abs light comes on for no reason.

Possible faults:

Different tire rotational speed wheel to wheel.

Broken wire loom to wheel sensor.

ABS Tone ring missing teeth, broken.

Bad ABS wheel sensor.

Dirty Tone ring...... brake dust and rotor dust.

There is always a reason for warning lamps to illuminate.

The Egine Lights of my Kia Sportage 1999 is always on when i am driving and it wont turn off. Some mechanic recommend that i must replace the cat convertor and oxygen sensor can that be true before i buy...

Hi.

When the check engine lights comes on there are codes stored in the ECU module (car main computer.
To know what must be replaced you need to find out what codes are stored in the ECU.
Post 1995 codes adhere to OBDII standard (see here: Kia OBD-II Trouble Codes). The codes can be retrieved connecting the ECU to a code scanner (like this:Actron CP9575), and performing a scan.
If you live in the US, code scanning can be done for free at the nearest Autozone, otherwise you can have a code scanning done at your garage for a small fee.

Regarding the mechanic's suggestion of replacing the cat convertor and oxygen sensor, that is probably based on testing. If the mechanic has checked the emissions, and emissions are hight though the engine is OK, then it may time to replace the cat converter. The mechanic can also decide to replace the cat converter if the part is not in good shape.

If the decision is based on an O2 sensor OBDII code,before replacing the sensor better having a quick look at emission and engine.

The best way to proceed is generally determined by the code returned and by the checkup of state of the engine, O2 sensor, and exhaust system.

Regards.

Ginko.
