Do i need to oil machine and if so how


here is a free manual from singer, look in it and see if it shows about
oiling the machine , if it doesn't show anything about oiling then
contact singer and ask them if that model is self oiling or not

How To Oil A Singer 3810 - Diagram


Singer no longer allows us to oil and grease. You won't find a diagram. Sorry. You'll need to take it in for Lube and adjust.

Singer tempo 50 free manual . bunching up underneath


check with singer to if they have a free manual Go to the singer website
Click on customer support--there will be a drop down menu
Choose instruction manual
In the box type the model number
Click search---it will take you to a page that shows what's available

for the bunching up underneath--
check the needle to see if it's blunt or bent--flat side of needle usually goes to the back of machine
clean under the needle plate for lint or loose threads
clean in bobbin area for lint or loose threads

I was given my mothers singer sewing machine model#4572. I have read the whole manuel and do not see anything about oiling it anywhere. All other machines I have had need to be oiled regular. Does this...


Hi! Some of the newer machines don't need oiling, but I would think an older Singer would require it. Use a little flashlight and look for tiny oil holes. If in doubt, a drop of oil wherever metal moves against metal can't hurt.
