Imedia system32 error

okay this is a confusing post/question. you can always start a machine from bio regardless of what operating system you're running. if you're attempting to boot from the disc, tap f12 @ boot until you get a one time boot menu and choose the dvd/cd drive. that should load the setup file. the windows disc does not load setup onto the hard drive. if you're running xp when you have the option hit 'r' to repair the computer, when you get into command prompt type sfc /scannow. this will search and fix all system files. you can also try chkdsk c: /r this will fix any errors in the file structure. good luck

On screen message telling me windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt- <windows root>\system32\hal.dll. Laptop does not start or boot properly

Time to get out that restore disc you made when you first got your laptop. The boot sector has errors. Boot with your rescue disc and run CHKDSK/F to clear the errors.
Hope that helps.

My laptop start but it doesnot reach windw after that black screen

It sounds as if you have a boot error in your start up sequence. Maybe caused by a hard drive error or corrupt file.
When the system is booting up press function key F8
Hope fully it will give you the option from there to load in safe mode. If it does, windows can repair itself. If not, you may need a boot disk to start up your system and then attempt to repair the errors.
Hope this helps.
