How to remove handle on floormate model H3040RM

Did you ever get the handle off? I'm having the same problem.

These are not directions to specifically remove the handle, I looked for them and could not find them. At this URL you will see an exploded view of the unit. By looking at the exploded view you can see the screws that hold the handle in place.
