Hi there,

Press SETUP and and choose 1 for FSE. Then choose 3 for NORM 1. This should fix your problem.

If all else fails there is a reset button on the back of the calculator.

From the manual:**SETTING THE NUMBER OF DECIMAL DIGITS**

Numbers of decimal digits of calculation results can be specified by pressing [C-CE] twice, then press [C-CE]and [M+] simultaneously.

The decimal digit assignment will appear as “F” (for “floating point”), “2” or “0” on the LCD. (The default is “F”.)

Press and hold [C-CE] and [M+] until the symbol changes.

To change from fraction to decimal, all it takes is a keypress. (change key)

.Not all decimal results (approximations) will be converted to fractions.

Anyway, if you want to set the calculator to display decimal results only,

Press SETUP

Press 2:EDITOR

Select 1:LINE.

Hi,

To stop the calcultor rounding your answers to the nearest INTEGER, press [2nd][FIX] followed by a number other than 0. For exemple

**[2nd][FIX] 3** will display the numbers with 3 decimal digits.

Use the Math.Round() function. It takes two arguments, the first is your number or a variable holding your number and the second is the number of decimal places. This will only round to fractions of a whole number though and you need to round to the nearest 10. So divide your number by 10 before you round to shift the decimal place once to the left and multiply by 10 again afterwards to shift it back again.

answer = Math.Round(32.1 / 10, 0) * 10

answer = Math.Round(32.1 / 10, 0) * 10
