Could be a thermostat or the element.

Single element stove oven, doesn't get hot enough

Your oven probably has a feature called a hidden bake element. The element is located beneath the floor of the oven. (Because of this, NEVER put aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven because it will get hot enough to melt the aluminum foil and make it bond to the bottom of your oven.) You can adjust the temperature of your oven through the electronic oven controls. Check your owner's manual for how to do this.

Range modle is KGSS907SSS01.when i cooking or use the oven, some noice come out ,until over is off or the temperature is down.

is it possible the coolant fan is running and has started making some noise ...the fan will come on at temperature request it has a thermostat to bring it on when the oven gets hot enough and will cool down...sometimes the fan will run even when you turn the oven off if it is hot enough until the temperature gets down low enough to shut it off...maybe this is what is going on and the fan has started making noise now and will need to be replaced.... good luck to you

My stove does not get hot enough

your oven/stove thermo-couple has gone bad and senses too much heat too soon before its actually hot and shuts off the gas supply,it is located inside the oven cavity in a clip on the top of the oven cavity and is normally replaced with the oven control dial as a calibrated unit

Smell gas before oven ignites

usually a problem with the oven ignitor not getting hot enough to ignite the gas. if ignitor has a dull orange-red color to it, probably should be replaced. a new ignitor should glow with a yellow to whitish color indicating it is hot enough to ignite the gas.

Oven does not get hot enough to bake ,the broiler and bake elements get hot,but not hot enough to broil or bake items. Is it my elements or my control switches from this early 60`s oven/range ?

Probably a failure to get 240 volts to those elements.
If burners work, then it's probably an oven CONTROL(S)l failure. Test them if you know how. Very difficult to find parts for a stove that old.

Oven igniter will not lite

Replace the igniter. Even if it's glowing red hot, it is still likely the problem. Evidently the oven reads the resistance across the heating element, and when it doesn't detect enough resistance, it knows that the igniter is wearing out, thus not getting hot enough, and you're going to have a hard time igniting the gas. So, it won't turn on the gas -- how thoughtful of your oven to keep you from blowing up.

I had the same problem until I read all about it at

If you're in a bind and need to use your oven tonight (or you want proof that it's the igniter going bad), you can try stealing the igniter from the broiler and using it to replace the igniter for the main part of the oven. Since most people use the broiler less than the regular "bake" feature of the oven, that igniter lasts longer.

the igniter is not getting hot enough. It can get hot enough to allow gas to flow but not quite enough to ignite the gas. It is an easy fix. The igniter is usually under the floor of the oven.

Electric Oven not getting hot enough

Sir, I think the top oelement is for broiling ONLY. It should not turn on when baking. The clicking may be the oven heating up.
How far apart were the oven temp instrument and the digital?
Don't expect them to match...they are inaccurate.

1. Heat water until it boils. Place digital therm in boiling water until it comes up to 212deg. If it is not at 212 in boiling water, record the error.(this gives a rough calibration to the digital)
2 Turn on oven, set to 350 deg, place digital therm on rack. Wait until oven reaches 350 (on stove) and read the digital. Note the difference between the two
