Surround not fuctionning - Sony STR-DH700 A/V Receiver

Have a shop look at it so they will know what the brand and model number are, no magic wands here.

1st- How old is the notebook , 2nd - do you still have the manual for this notebook , sometimes there is a fuction button you can press to shut off the display , normally its the F1 Through F12 keys but there also might be a fuction key you have to press with the F1 button , let me know if this works , i'll be waiting .........goodluck Roy

go into sevice mode by pressing "additional functions", then "2 & 8" simultaneously, and then additional fuctions again. select copier, then fuction, then clear, and then err or error, then press ok at the bottom of the screen. Power off the machine, and then turn it back on. If the problem persists, you will need to replace the fixing film assy #FM2-1793. Do not perform clears on any of the other items listed under clear or you could cause more problems with the machine.

if the problem appears to be only in your remote control for wide off button, and other button function seems not affected... i suggest that u clean the remote control inside, of course you need to disassemble it and clean the rubber pad. esp. the wide off button. it happens when the carbon contact was cover w/ dirt...last sol. is to buy a new "same" remote...

This device does not have the phone fuction, but you can still use some kind of 3rd party VoIP client for voice commucation. As the device is equipped with the Wireless LAN fuctionality.

down load the latest version of I Tunes - in that menu you will see a reset fuction for the I pod reset it. Remeber for your I pod to fuction youalso nee Quick Time which is on the same site. Site: www.apple.com

just click on the wireless icone at notification area it will pop up a windows where the wireless connection are listed, if no connection is there then refresh the list by clicking the refresh list tab at left side, then select the required connection and click on connect tab.

Press fuction 64 set.

Look at the print out for MANUAL MODE setting

Press fuction 74 set 1 set to enable MANUAL MODE

Now to receive a fax you must press START when the fax rings.

I don't think you're going to find a free manual. Check eBay.
