Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I cannot get the printer to print. everything seems to be functioning properly. I have replaced both the color and black ink cartridges, the paper runs through but there is nothing printed, just plain paper. I have checked and doubled checked the cartridges and print head are snapped in securely. I also ran the clean print head feature several times with no change in the outcome. Still a blank sheet of paper, it will not print.

Hello, I am having the same problem and have done extensive research to find out that with this exact problem you have mentioned, you must clean the printer head, nozzles, and waste ink tube. the process is a bit long and needs patience. You will have to take the print head assembly out of the sliding caddle and put it in a glass of rubbing alcohol to disolve the dryed ink within the printer head assembly. it is held in with a silver metal plate that runs across the assembly and screws to the sliding carriage. be carefull to remove the black clip on the right of the carriage to take it out. note to be careful to not pull the white info lines of the head. leave it in the glass overnight and also clean the tube that runs under the waste pad station and clean the clear waste tube as well. ....Good luck

follow the step by step solution from kodak.
Choose All-in-one printer and then Print quality and follow the further steps. I think it's a problem with your printhead.

you may try to clean the printhead and recalibrate the printer. if this will not correct the problem, you need to replace the printhead. I suggest contacting Kodak technical support to have a replacement printhead.

You need to deactivate ink level detection function to continue printing in case of usage of refill ink .

The KODAK All-in-One Printer uses an advanced built-in printhead. The system is designed to provide excellent image and text quality, while eliminating the need to purchase new printheads every time you replace ink cartridges, and saving you money. The printing system requires that both the black and color ink cartridges be installed to print. If either cartridge is not installed or is out of ink, the printer or printhead will not print correctly.
Install the color a new cartridge, avoid damage to the print head.
