SOURCE: How do you replace the

hello possum...

First, remove the spool from the head by stopping the engine and cutting attachment first. Then, grasp the body and insert your thumb into the tab on the head, then rotate around and press on the second tab. After this, press down on the spool and release it from the housing. Now, remove the star nut. Here is a video showing the steps http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-replace-line-stihl-trimmer-head-264449/ Joe Thanks for choosing Fixya!

SOURCE: I have replaced my ryobi whipper snipper fuel

I have had exactly the same experience, and then also replaced the primer bulb, messed around with the carby mixtures, but so far it will not run for more than about 3 - 5 seconds! I have yet to resolve this problem.

I had the same problem, the black knob on the bottom just slips round not unscrewing the bolt inside. I had to lever the knob off and then undo the bolt with a spanner. The re-threading instructions are in this manual : http://manuals.homelite.com/documents/2588

When I had this problem I replaced that ratchet toggle part that the string drum sits over. Do you use replacement refills or do you refill them yourself. If you wind the string in the wrong direction it all affect the auto feed.

I do not have a user manual for a Black & Decker D609 Whipper Snipper I need to replace the cord I have a new replacement but don't know how to replace it Brian

ok, looks that this is an electric trimmer or saw. this is not recomendable that you replace it because is a Double Insulated product and to replaced after repair it has to be tested so it will not shock you. I do not recommend you do it. take it to a service center or if is cheaper get a new one.

How to fit whipper snipper line

Hold the snipper upside down so the petrol leaks onto the kitchen floor. Take 6 metres of line and untangle it eventually. Stick it through the two holes and wind the cord in opposite directions so it jams together and tangles. Stick the unit head back together with two feet of line sticking out each side. Start the trimmer and jump backwards as the line rips itself to pieces. Use it on weeds until line breaks within 20 seconds. Slam the end of the trimmer into the concrete and shout **** fuckey **** ****. Then tear off the head cover and start again. I have done this for years and it never fails. Hope this helps.
