Hi there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service. Icame across your post and wanted to see if I could help. It sounds like yourremote may need to be readdressed to your DISH receiver box. You are going towant to check your batteries first to make sure that they are fresh if not try replacingthem. Once you have changed your batteries, try pressing the SAT mode buttonand hold it down until all other mode lights light up red. If both options donot work try readdressing the remote to the receiver, I will list here for youthe instructions for addressing your remote. I hope you find this informationuseful and if you have any further questions please feel free to post back hereor email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com. :)
Your chair has a motor problem. The code does not tell which side it is. Make sure both motors have the brakes in the drive position before turning on the chair. Also check that both motors are plugged into the main control module in the base of the chair.
3 Solid Red lights usually means that a cable is unplugged. Check all cables (unplug and plug back in)...you may need to replace power cable if issue is still ocurring. If it is 3 Flashing red lights, this is known as the Red Rings of Death, i.e. your XBOX is dead and needs to be completely replaced.
well, this happened to me one time, so I unplugged the cosnole and waited 15 minutes.. make sure the remote has fresh batteries too. If that doesnt work, call microsoft, i heard they increased the warranty on xbox 360. 1-(800) 4MY-XBOX (469-9269
You have encountered the infamous 'Red Ring of Death' problem that occurs in many Xbox systems.
The lights are actually separated into four seperate areas, and depending on which ones are red for you is supposedly some error code (either hardware, software etc). In most peoples cases they need to get it replaced. (this is a widespread problem for Microsoft, and they usually do all the work for free).
Your first options would be to run through all the normal things, unplug it, remove and reseat the harddrive, etc (I'm sure you've tried all this many times over by now).
The second thing to do is call Xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX (9am-1am est, 6am-10pm pst). The first things they will probably have you do are the things I mentioned above. When they don't work, they will most likely be sending you a box in which to send them your machine for repairs.
My suggestion is to do it as quickly as possible. The least amount of Halo3 you miss, the better
uh well u got the three red lights of death it sounds like... and i also had those. while im no expert on this stuff, iv seen that u can put ur 360 sideways on a table, wrap it in towels(and i mean like 2 towels, wrap it up completely) and turn it on and leave it on for about 10-15 mins. just make sure a fire doesnt start in those 10-15 mins(believe me you dont want to call the fire company and tell them u started a fire wrapping ur game console in towels), ok then after u done waitin turn it off, unwrap it, and let it sit until it is cool, and try turning it on. it might work, its supposed to work because those three red lights mean that theres a malfunction in the 360 itself, such as wires or sumthin, and extreme heat may melt the wires and fix the problem, how i dont know but theres so many stories of ppl who have pulled it off
