Will not turn on. flashing blue light


If the console only reads zeros or the controls do not function properly, try adjusting the reed switch. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the motor hood and adjust the reed switch. Unplug the power cord, remove the motor hood and locate the reed switch, which is on the left side of the belt pulley. Rotate the pulley until a small magnet comes into view next to the reed switch. Loosen, but do not remove, the screw on the switch and move the switch with your hand until the gap between the switch and the magnet is 1/8 inch. Tighten the screw and replace the motor hood. Check this and adjust it:
If the console takesbatteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not requirebatteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch:Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mountedon the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into thefront roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointingdirectly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of themagnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected tothe console.

The optic disk spins between two sensors on the optic switch.The disk must spin freely without touching either sensor. Proform 625 turns on all leds on console and hangs.


If the console takes batteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not require batteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mounted on the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into the front roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointing directly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of the magnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected to the console.

After you did these adjustments, please tight the flexible cable from key panel vs. Display board.
and then connector from display board vs Lower Boar or Main controller Board.
Try to clean the keypanel with contact cleaner (spray from radio schack or computer store.
Finally attached my block diagram that I did for people like you. You will see how the main controller board has 90% of the functions for treadmills.

C2255 treadmill - everything works but the console light no longer comes on - nothing in manual to show what the problem could be.

Precor C 962 Display works, but when start key press nothing happens!

Our Nordic Track C2255 has worked great... until today. I went to start it and after placing the saftey magnet to turn it on, the incline rises and keeps trying to rise even after it has reached the max %...

`STUCK KEY` shows when machine is switched on and will not work

Try to tight the flexible cable from Keypanel vs Display board and then tigh the connector from display board vs lower board or main motor controller.
Clean the keypanel with contact cleaner spray(radio schack or computer store):
adjust according with diagram attached 1/8" aprox +see the block diagram how the main motor board has aprox 90% of functions of any treadmills. Now you will have powerful resultant what is wrong.

Console getting erratic numbers and motor will not run. i have checked the reed. my father does not remember how tech support had told him to reset console. Was working intermittenly before we checked...
