My Philips 20PT633 has started shutting off mid program.

Have you tried to hold the gas pedal to the floor ? Ford's have clear flood mode strategy programmed into the PCM , if you hold pedal to the floor the engine computer disables the fuel injectors . If it is flooded holding to the floor will clear it out .

philips tv turns itself off and on agianevery 10 mins roughly with a gap of a few mins before coming back on. only had a few months

Look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Granger1212 we had the same problem. We called LG and although our LG was out of warranty by 4 months, we were asked to supply our proof of purchase and LG sent a serviceman to our home and in 2 days we had our television back working wonderfully. It's the power supply, call LG and BE NICE, I'm sure they will fix it.

You have to test several parts, common causes are defective termic sensor, or fault program control.

Convergence problem needs two ic 's to fix.

A fuzzy display is not likely to by caused by programs on your computer. Is this an LCD flat panel monitor or a regular CRT monitor?? If it's a CRT, the problem could be with the high-voltage power supply, which would need to be diagnosed by an experienced computer or electronics technician.

Check to see if there is a small focus knob on the back. If so try turning it back and forth three or four times to "clean" it....then adjust for correct focus.

Symptoms like this can also be caused by accumulated dust inside the monitor.
