Saeco Magic comfort

My machine was going along fine this morning when suddenly it made a funny noise and then displayed ventilate.  I can't find anything in the manual for ventilate so don't know what I should do. I turned machine off & totally cleaned it but still came up ventilate when I turned it back on. Please help

Hello...I am having the same problem...after descaling the machine the word ventilate suddenly displayed and no matter what I try it won't go away...meanwhile the machine is not working...I have tried turning it on and off, unplugging it...ventilating many times, cleaning...but the descale cycle now is not working either....tried going into menu and resetting some of the menu items...the display always returns to ventilate....we can't get it repaired because we were given it as a gift in Europe and are now in Canada....

While I was away on vacation, the water tank went dry and now the Saeco machine reads "Ventilate." I understand this means prime the pump, but I do not know how to do this and cannot find it in the booklet.

    Help?

It says Ventilate. And will not go away so the machine will not work.

Turn the hot water / steam knob on to 'ventilate' the pressure from the machine. The ventilate /overtemperature message will disappear when ready (few seconds usually)

How to ventilate Saeco Magic Comfort + coffe maker

Hi
If its a Magic Comfort + there is a water button on the panel (with the drop) that you push for water. You twist the dial for steam only.

If its a Magic Delux you twist the dial for water.

Hi I have Saeco Magic Comfort. The ventilate warning is on and no matter what I do I cant get it to go away.

HI Have you pushed the button with the water drop icon? If you have you have a bad flow meter or the solenoid to the steam valve is stuck or you have a plug in the tip of the wand. Its hard to diagnose the problem without seeing the machine.

Electonic display will not change on a Siemens Expresso machine

I have had this problem with our coffee machine as well some how the machine has sucked air into the system and needs to get it out.

To ventilate the machine turn the dial on top of the 'magic comfort' sign (the one for the froth) and place a glass underneath. Keep the dial turned till the sign ventilate goes away then close the dial.

This process has always worked for me...

Thanks
