Maybe trapped water in the dryer. Switch off and remove power from wall. Remove condenser unit from the dryer (clean the condenser while you have the chance with plenty of water and an old toothbrush - it will probably be filthy). With the condenser unit removed stick an old tea towel in the hole where the condenser was and then tip the dryer on its side. If there is water it will either run onto the tea towel or onto your kitchen floor OR into the water container!
It worked for me, honest...

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail(meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) thatmight need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can tripout or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehaveprograms that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcodeshowing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also bethe fault.

SOURCE: No heat out Miele T234C dryer.
Most likely fault is filters have been clogged and tripped the safety stat on rear of appliance. Wash filters and replace stat Part No. 5432530

Hi the problems is not a sensor its the codenser unit. Above the water collector should be a panel on the front of your machine, open the panel and you will see the condeser.covered in fluff, simply remove the condeser and clean it under an outside tap after removing as much fluff as possible by hand. Push back into place when clean and hey presto back to new again.
