I HAVE A HONEYWELL THERMOSTAT THAT HAS BROKEN. IT HAS 7 WIRES. G-GREEN C-BLUE R-RED Y-YELLOW L-BLACK W2/E-WHITE O-ORANGE ITS ELECTRIC WITH NO BATTERY. I BROUGHT A HUNTER THERMOSTAT WITH BATTERY. ALL IT HAS...

Shut power off to Air Handler first before hooking up the thermostat..... Looks like the Hunter Thermostat does not have a Common Terminal...... Is it a Heat Pump thermostat???? I am not a big Fan of Hunter Thermostats they do not have the features that Honeywell thermostats have.
Back to your Question:
G to G ; R to Rc&Rh : O to Y/O; White Wire to W/B; Y to Y1;
L-Black is not used it was for a service lite
C-Blue will not be used it was the common wire

With the Hunter Stat you will not have an emergercy heat option

I pulled off my old thermostat and didnt label my wires, and I'm attempting to hook up a hunter thermostat #40170, I have 4 wires coming out the wall

What you have to do is identify your power which is usually red. once you know what that is tap one of the other wires to that then see what comes on Fan,A/C Heat. Once you hit the wire to the Red mark them then hook it up. Also you can try going to the furnace and seeing what colors are hooked up there then do the same at the t- stat. If this help please rate me or do a testimonial.

Cannot get Hunter stat 44155c that is connected to a Rheem 1210b to shut off after the stat reaches the set temp. How is an original 7 wire connected to the Hunter stat?

y is to condensor contactor wire
c is common
r is power
w/w1 heat strips
o/b reversing valve
e/w2/aux heat strip also
g is blower

For a rheem unit, make sure reversing vavle is set for "B" not O.
Blower may run for up to 120 seconds after shut off. My experience with hunter stats are not good (even out of box). Recommend honeywell tsat.

I am having difficulty wiring my hunter ceiling fan

For the fan alone, you hook the black wire from the fan to the black wire in your electrical box; white to white. If there is a red wire it's for the light, hook it to the black wire from the box. If you let us know what wires are available in your box and what's coming out of the fan and whether the fan has a light and whether the box is wired for separate lighting, we could go a long way towards solving your problem in more definitive terms. Hunter is a premium fan, their package directions are good.

Wireing code from goodman heat and air to a Hunter 44360 programa

To get your heat going take the red wire hook it up to R on t-stat. Take white wire and hook it to W on t-stat. Take the green wire and hook it to G on t-stat. that will get you heat. Now I need for you to go to the unit where the wires hook to the furnace circuit board. I need to know what color wires go to what on the board. Might have to take off bottom panel. should only be using 4 or 5 wires. Get back with me and will complete the wiring. Be sure no wires at the t-stat are touching each other as this will short out transformer. So tape them off or cut flush so wire and insulation are flush. ken
