This could be the belt on the drum that has come off the pulley or the motor, it may have broken. It might also be a bad switch on the door or the pulley, it could also be a bad control board.

I just had to say thanku for posting this! This absolutely worked for me on my dryer and I let out a huge sigh of relief. Honestly, probably wouldn't have been able to figure it out on my own! Thanks again!!

It could be that it is over heating. I would check the vent tube to see if it's clogged or check the part where you hook up the vent to the dryer

From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer will start and stop after 20 minutes, also the lights on the right side start flashing. Could you provide me with your model number, please? You can usually locate it on the door frame of your dryer. With that information I can examine your control board and provide any further assistance. -Matt

The problem is that you stopped a cycle before the program knob reached the "STOP" (12 o'clock on the knob). All you have to do is turn on the machine, turn the knob to STOP, and wait a couple of seconds. You'll hear a tone and the ON/OFF light will stop blinking. Turn the program knob to the cycle you want and- viola! you're good to go!

You'll need a voltmeter to properly diagnose most of these. 1)Check to see if you're getting the right amount of power to the dryer 2)Check the Heating element
3)Check the fuse (if any)
4)Check the Thermostat

the flashing light indicates that the door is not closing
it may be closed by the door switch is not operating properly telling the control it is closed

check for a little reset button ,when dryer is off!,it could be easy to get at and exposed or it could be behind a panel,use a flash light to locate,hope this helps

Most likely the heating element or a thermostat.
