SOURCE: where in ballarat can i get an black ipad repaired?

Hi Daveo_25,
I've had two family member's iPads (ipad 2 & ipad 3gen) repaired by Ballarat iphones. He repaired them both within a few hours after dropping them off and they were as good as new. The cost of the repairs was reasonable and i would use them again. their website is www.ballaratiphones.com.au
Best of Luck,

Your product is such a piece of POSthat i just smashed it into a million pieces my question is where can i mail them to you

good for you and what you did
unfortunately for you, the product did not come from this site as it is an advice site only and has nothing to do with product
So instead of venting you spleen on this page , contact the supplier direct and discuss the quality of the product with them
Because you smashed the product in a fit of rage, it will now be impossible to get any warranty or replacement of money or product

How do l add contacts to my mailing list on my lpad

I'm presuming that your mailing list is the Contacts list on your iPad. If you have a Mac, or an iPhone (or other iOS devices), you can choose to sync all of them through iCloud. If you want instructions for that, please ask a separate question.

If you can see your mailing list in your Contacts app on your iPad, simply touch the + icon in the upper right corner of the screen to bring up an empty contact card. When you are finished, touch "done"; you can add another by repeating the same actions, or do something else.

There is no way a stranger to your area could estimate the cost of repairs in your area. You should get at least 3 estimates yourself before proceeding.

What does calibrating a ipad mean

Whoever used the term "calibrating an iPad" may have been referring to touch screen calibration.

Some touch screens need to be adjusted, or "calibrated", or the device may act as if you touched a different spot on the screen than you did. The iPad screen does not need to be calibrated.
If the iPad make a mistake about what spot you touched, the error may be due to:
  • a defect or damage;
  • a screen protector;
  • a cold finger;
  • a hand that is holding the iPad and inadvertently touching the screen;
  • a finger that is inadvertently touching the screen.

Broken screen

you should take it to the apple store. If they won't help you, You can try to replace the part yourself, it is available on any auction website. There is an iPad Repair service that can fix it for you, but if you're a little tech savy you should use an iPad repair guide that teaches you how to do the repair yourself.
