Hi there. To get to the resolution settings on Windows 8, first bring up the 'Charms' bar on the right hand side of the screen (either swipe from the right for touch screen devices, or hover the mouse pointer in the bottom right or top right of the screen for desktop users). When the Charm bar slides out, click on Settings, and at the bottom of this next menu that slides out, click on 'Change PC settings' - this will bring up the Windows 8 Settings menu. Next you'll see a list of options on the left to choose from. Select 'PC and Devices', then select 'Display'. This should give you the resolutions settings to tinker with. :)

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to adjust the screen

Choose a resolution not greater than the native size of your screen :
for example, if your screen is an 1388 x 760, don't use 1600 x 800 !
How do you do that ?
right click on an empty space of the desktop, select properties, parameters tab, and move the slider to the native resolution of your screen.
