get a plastic barb connector at lowes, or eq. inside the fridge side connect the end of the old tubing to the new tubing with the barb connector and pull the old line out from the back of the ref untill the new line comes out the rear of the machine to the water valve and reconnect tubing inside fridge

It should be on the right hand side in the back take off the compressor cover on the back should be 8 or so 1/4 screws nutdriver type and then two more hold on the water valve. If you have a RO system hooked up to refrig you may need to change the filters on the ro or just change the filter on the refrig. those two will also cause the water to drip thru the valve allowing it to drip on the front

if some water did come in after changing valve and you can hear the valves turn on and ice maker cycling / then the only thing left is water supply . now even though the water did come in for a short time . doesn't mean the supply is ok . so turn off water get a large bucket and remove the water line and open the valve . this will let you know if more than a couple of cups will come out . if the valve is bad the water will solw and soon the water willls stop .. ( the valve is the house supply not the frig units .. hope this helps . also if plastic ck for kink's in line or frig roling over line and pinching it . mm
