Question about Element Televison & Video
Will not turn on. Not even the standby light & the fuse to the power supply is not blown??????

Check the voltages on the power supply board. If they all are present and correct, then the main board isn't sending the On signal to the power supply board. Replace the main board.

You probably need a new power source. Take it to you repair shop. That's what I had to do and it was relatively inexpensive.

Check all the caps on PSB. if any look puffed , replace them. If you are getting 14volts to the ivnerter board PS is good and the inverter is bad.. good luck

sounds like either way your power board is bad- do you intend on replacing a component? I would look for Puffy caps- you know- leaking from the top-

Power supply is the place to look, look for bulging on top of the capacitors in the secondary side of the main power supply.
