Check the -12 at the power supply. May be a corroded connector between them. Also look for signs of heat damage. If the power goes through any connectors, get some contact cleaner, disconnect each one and clean both sides of each connector. If that doesn't work, the power supply is probably bad.

Samsung HT-THX25 sound problem

I had the same problem. How i fixed ? I unplugged HT and I kept pressed the power button from DVD for a few seconds. Repeat it, put it in socket and turn it on. It happens from condensation or voltage variations.

How to connect sansui HT 2501 5.1 home theater to pc

In general, the PC's soundcard and video capabilities will determine the answer to the question. And which direction you want to run. Is the PC a source or the end-unit or both? Your PC hardware and software documentation would describe various scenarios.

The PC is a common source of audio. Any PC should have a minimal headphone output, which would be functionally the same as the analog L/R speaker output. Simply adapt the cables for RCA connection to your audio system, get into yourt PC's sound controls (usually proprietary), max out the volume and set its output for something like FULL range speakers.

Run it to any available Line Level input on the HT.

Digital outputs, same same.

Sending sound TO the PC will depend on IT and the software it uses.

Can not play music from the ipod dock, can see the songs but it will not play. HT-C6600

I have had problem with the unit freezing up. To resolve this, I remove the ipod from the dock
be sure a song is playing on the ipod; replace it into the dock; when the message - no disk - appears, then press the red "A" button to select ipod. That brings up song list and hitting the center SELECT botton on the remote, it plays the song correctly.

HOWEVER, if I hit the return button in the middle of play, I cannot go back and play a different song. The unit freezes on STOP. Or if I wait until the end and go back to the song list, then it starts to play the next song with no sound. When this happens the display on the unit flashes "MUSIC" / (play time), repeatedly.

The Samsung help-line thinks this is a problem with the iPod dock and are sending me a new dock. But I don't think that is where the problem is. I think the HT-C6600 is defective.

Bike is making a knocking noise that sounds like

The tappets in your engine are hydraulic and there is no adjustment to them. As the engine warms up and expands, the tappets expand to maintain zero backlash. I've seen the rollers on the end of the tappets go bad and when they do, it sounds like someone with a sledgehammer in the motor. But, I've never seen one go bad at 3000 miles. The earliest I've seen one go bad is 13K miles.

If I had to guess, with only 3000 miles on a 2001 model bike, I'd guess bad gas. Put some fresh gasoline in the tank and make sure that it contains no more than 10% ethanol.

Good Luck

2001 Audi A4 - Knocking in the front end while braking

Providing that the c/v joints are in good condition, the dealers diagnosis sounds reasonable. However, changing two tires may not solve the problem. In reality the rolling circumference of all four tires must match. Mating two new tires to two partially worn tires may get you closer but still not where you should be.
In four wheel drive vehicles, this situation becomes more critical because the transfer case cannot operate properly when front tires are going at a different speed than the rear ones. This can cause the t case to fail (far worse than your problem) Owners of 4x4's generally change all four tires even getting down to matching production lot #s when possible to ensure exact diameter match up. Tire sizes also vary from manufacturer to manufacturer same #s are not always the same size! Therefore using two tires of a different brand can cause a problem as well.
I haven't "cured" anything, but I hope this gives you a better understanding of what you are dealing with.
good luck.

Knocking in cylinder head of escort 1.8 lx td

Hi

Engine knock, if it is coming from low down in the block, is usually caused by worn big ends, and is more pronounced at idle or under load.

Diesels, however have the added bonus of being able to create a nice knock due bad fuel atomisation, overfuelling, or excess oil burning.

Bad fuel atomisation is usually caused by dirty injectors.

Excess oil burning is usually caused by a worn turbo amongst other things.

Very best regards
