My sons x box 360 keeps ejecting discs when trying to load them ,
sometimes ejecting them all the way other times only partly ejecting them.
The on switch at the bottom of the console which controls the four segments of the controllers is lit correctly, but on closing the drawer the centre light is flashing Hope you can help, we seem to have misplaced the manuals.
Xbox 360s are always haveing problems i have had 4 so far and they have all had differnet problems wot i found was easyer was 2 send it bak to microsoft and they just replaced it but the problem might be that it just needs a clean or sumthing has got stuck insinde and is just causeing them to eject

and switch off the console, again swith on try this 2 to 3 time 2.
keep the console in vertical position or little slanding position(180

load the game inside it , so that u lens life increased
your disc tray is jamming on an intermittent fault and when it does work it is recording each time the eject botton is being pressed so when your watching movies or playing games it tries to eject the disc tray and causes an automatic shutdown it will definately neet proffesionally repaired and should cost about 30-40 pounds and get a guarantee with it bacause these faults can come back to haunt you.
Well, with xbox I'm not to sure, but play station2 my son stepped on his and it didn't read the disk that was in it, but it played others, just is very noisy now, you could try contacting microsoft, they are very helpful with refunds -
