I can not get my printer to work it has all lights blinking

logicaldemen.gif

It indicates Fuser Malfunction. When any of the following error is indicated, turn the printer Off, wait 5 seconds and then turn the printer On again.

If the alarm continues, perform a Factory Reset:
  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Hold in the circular button on the front panel of the printer.
  3. Turn the printer back on.
  4. When the DRUM light is lit by itself let go of the button.
  5. Hold in the circular button on the front panel again.
  6. Once the Alarm light comes on, let go of the button.
  7. This has performed a factory reset on the printer.

How do i clear an error 5100 from my canon pixma mp250?

Try this technique. Turn off printer. Hold down Stop/Reset button with one hand and turn printer on with other hand. After green light comes on for the ON button, press the Stop/Reset button two times and you should see the green light blink off and the orange alarm light blink "on" with the first press and then the green light comes back on for the power button and the orange light goes off with the second press (if you did it correctly). Now, you need to hold down the ON button about five seconds, then let go to shut OFF the printer. When you turn it back on, the printer should be back to the factory original condition. Make sure you set all your printer properties the way you want them again from your printer properties dialog boxes because some of the settings may have been stored in the printer's EEPROM, which you just reset to get rid of the offending alarm code.

Drum, alarm, and data lights on--won't prnt

This unit might need resetting!

Here's how..

There's two ways to reset it

First: Soft Reset
1. Open front cover.
2. Hold down button located under LED's until all LED's are lit.
3. Release button and make sure drum LED is off, then
4. Close cover

Second: Factory Reset

Alarm light is RED and data light is AMBER - both are on permanently

This means toner is empty. This condition was probably preceded by a period of "toner low" indications, data- and alarm LEDs blinking shortly every fifth second or so (maybe you never noticed that). Replace toner cassette and it should work normally.

Alarm light Microline 320 Turbo 9 pin printer - won't print

We swapped out the printer for another one we had in the office that was working. The new printer also got the alarm light. From that we concluded that it was a bad serial card. We swapped the serial card from another printer, and the original printer started working perfectly. Now we just need to find out where we can purchase another serial card, as we have no more 'spares' around here.
