the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

How do I get the message unfortunately com.android.phone off my sons proscan tablet?

Have you tried the reset with the paper clip in the reset hole yet.?

I think the reset hole is on the back. Press gently into the hole with a paper clip.

You will lose all data however and it will go back to factory default settings.

This is a common problem with Proscan tablets. Make sure you charge the battery fully before starting.

Frozen screen on slvania netbook

Insert a paper clip into the hole on the bottom of the netbook if the device seems to be frozen. The hole is next to the battery cover. The system uses solid state memory rather than a hard drive, so the netbook should restart rapidly.

My tomtom go 510 has decided it will no longer switch on, I hold the on buttn down and the green light comes on but nothing else happens! Any ideas? Is it time to get rid and buy a new one?

make sure it has a good charge on it (a few hours on the home charger if you have one) then locate the reset hole where the mount attaches ..(see picture) and use a paper clip to reset it...depress the reset for about 15 seconds...if theres nothing else wrong with it, it will restart...you might have to press and hold the power button for up to ten seconds also, after the reset.

My gps unit got stuck on a location and I turned it off and it won't turn back on I've held the power button down for a while but nothing

Look in the back of the unit for a reset button, this will be a small tiny button or maybe a small hole in the back with the word reset on it. If it is the hole then use a paper clip to to push the reset button. Note power must be on to reset the unit.

Did you try the reset button on lower left side of player? I use a twist tie and cut paper or plastic off tip to press button.

Red Light indicator on

I have a Bionaire tower air filter model BAP1700 that I bought from Costco. The filter check LED came on recently after 5 months of use. After cleaning the Permatech filters, I tried every remedy on this website including following the instructions that say push power button for 2 secs. Nothing worked. Then I noticed a tiny hole on the control panel in front of clean filter LED; I pushed a paper clip pin into that hole, felt a click, held it down and 2 secs later, LED went out. Success!
