Question about Danby Portable Air Conditioner
Hi, My Danby portable air conditioner works fine in every mode with the exception of dehumidify mode. When in dehumidify mode it doesn't drain into the reservoir like it does in every other mode. Instead, the water pools near the front of the unit. Any help would be appreciated.

The base needs to be dumped regularly. The air conditioner sweats water during operation and the pan collects it. Your manual should give you the procedure on how this is done. In some cases there is a hose attached to the drain pan so that you can direct the drainage to a more conventional drain location.

Also check to see that the nut on the male connection to the external water tank is tight. Mine dripped because the nut was loose.
