Left buton in touchpad in hp probook 4530s doesnt work

Start > Control Panel > Search for "System" and click on it > On the left, click on Advanced System Settings > Click the Computer Name tab > Click the Change button > Click the Domain radio button > Add the domain name.

You will need to be a memeber of the domain admin group, on your server, to perform this operation. When you go to log back in, it should have the domain you entered, selected.

This is usually the switch itself and is a surface mount device with 6 soldering points 2 which connect the metal case to GND 2 contacts which are on half of the switch and are joined together and the remaing 2 are the other half which when the button is pressed joins the 2 sections together. Some good soldering on small components is required to replace.

To access Mouse Properties, select Start - Control Panel - Hardware and Sound -Mouse.

Use Mouse Properties in Windows to customize settings for pointing devices, such as button configuration, click speed, and pointer options.

Delete is not the same thing with Backspace. Go before a word you just typed and hit delete. It will delete TO THE RIGHT of the cursor not to the left !

Sub out the ram one at a time, if luck is there unit will start, second option is remove the main battery often loads the system down.

03-27-2013 FINALLY A SOLUTION THAT WORKS TO DISABLE HP 4530S touch pad:
Clickity click on Control Panel/System/Device Manager/Mice/Synaptics PS2/Driver/Update Driver/Search Internet for latest driver.
It should find and update with driver dated 01/10/2013 which is driver version 16.3.9.0
HOORAY! Double click on the upper left hand corner of the mouse pad, the light comes On indicating that the mouse pad is OFF - and it works just like HP said it would two years ago. Knowing HP, who knows for how long it will work.
This works on Windows 7 - on other systems your milage may vary.

it worked fine for me.
I had issues with the touchpad clicking while i type. it was so **king annoying

check with external speakers..if they are working fine then contact the Hp to replace the speaker.
checked the sound drivers in device manager.
you can go to device manager by right clicking on the my computer icon...there got to manage.
if you see red cross on the sound device...reinstall the sound drivers
