there will be one option print and one tab will be there with options to either print in continuous or with gaps, so select continuous from the tab and save the changes it will work

Printer TallyGenicom T6312 printing blank pages

This is most likely caused by a problem with the print gap mechanism. It seems the print gap sensor was not able to adjust the gap correctly for your paper. The first I would try is to update to the current firmware version (4.0A) which is in many times solving the problem. If not you would need to replace the print gap sensor.

How do i adjust the print head gap on a tally genicon 2280+ printer

The 2280+ does NOT have a head gap leaver you can adjust the gap from with the menu on the printer.
The printer has an automatic gap adjust which should set the correct gap for most types of paper.

The print head gap can be changed in the following way;
  1. Put the printer OFFLINE
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press the button under ADJUST on the display
  4. Press the button under HEAD
  5. You can now change the print head gap, if the Automatic Gap Agjust is working the gap setting should go from -10 to +10.
    If the Automatic Gap Adjust is not working this value will go to values smaller than -10 to larger than +10
If the Head gap will go to values less than -10 and greater than +10, first check the AGA is enabled. This can be done in the following way;
  1. Power the printer OFF
  2. Hold down the ONLINE button and power the printer ON, keep the ONLINE button held down untill the pritner has finished initializing.
  3. Press NEXT repeatedly untill you see AGA
  4. Select AGA
  5. Channge this to ALWAY or ON (cant remember!)
  6. Press SET
  7. Power the pritner OFF and back ON to exit the menu.
If the AGA option does not apear in the TEST menu above the Automatic Gap Adjust is not working and will need to be checked out.

Ok, when you say continuous...do you mean it is a roll of label material that does not have gaps in between? If it has gaps...it is NOT a continuous label and you probably have the driver settings set as continuous feed and not gap as it should be....

Prints very light, already changed both print cartridges.

two possibilites
1) check the print properties, draft mode can be too lite
2) check print head gap, on some printers you can manually adjust the gap (distance between head and paper)

Printer prints in color but has gaps

Have you tried a new colour cartridge? This is a classic sign that the cartridge may be low on ink. When printing text, assuming you are printing black, it is likely that the black cart is doing most of the work so the gaps are insignificant. You could try printing text in several different colours. If the colour cartridge is low, you'll find that some colours may be ok but others may have gaps.

Best to try a new cart if you have one.
