Microwave is smoking when I use it as a convection oven

It seems to be self cleaning... burning all the oils that coats the inside from microwaving food that wasn't covered. Clean the oven well and to remove bad smells put lemon juice in a bowl and microwave.

My double electric wall oven smells like smoke, what can be the problem?

It depends o what kind of smoke. If it is just a burnt food smoke smell there is residue left on the walls that has refused to come off with cleaning and a harder detergent is required, perhaps allowed to soak for a longer time. If it is an electrical smoke smell, there is either a bad connection that is heating up and creating the smell or some wires hare carrying too great a load and are smouldering. Check the first item before looking at the next because that will require you to open the back of the oven to access the wires and contacts.

This just happened over night the oven is on but there is a bad gas smell when it is in use. There is a hissing noise too.this oven runs on propane

Hello,
When the burner is burning, are both sides of the burner lit and is it lit all the way down the burner? If it is and you are still smelling gas you should not use the oven until you have it serviced, so you do not have an explosion. Propane is heavier than air, and will settle in low areas, so smell low by the floor around the oven before you light it to make sure you don't have a leak first. To be safe until then, close the shutoff valve on the gas line at the appliance until you get it looked at and fixed. Douglas

There is a terrible smell from the oven

I would need to be there to verify but if it is not an electrical odor then I would suspect a dead rodent, or if you have pets a mouse could have packed the space between the liner and the frame with pet food. I had one that had stored 20 pounds of dog food in there.

Smoking Fan Assisted Oven

Is the smell a food smell or other smell. If it is food, then some food has gotten behind the blower motor. Clean behind it good. Even some small particles have gotten in there somehow. You can also feel thye sufaces of the oven and tell if there is some buildup.

Oven - Very bad gas smell

Very Dangerous! turn off supply to appliance, supply ventalation and call service tech. If you are very familiar with gas appliances and know what you are doing then you can try to locate the leak using soapy water or leak detector liquid. make sure all flames and other possible sources of ignition have been eliminated. Keep room well ventilated. Spray leack detector on all fittings and look for leaks replace or tighten parts as needed. This responce is asuming you have not blown up already, seriously dangerous situation you have there.
