SOURCE: I have an HP 2009m monitor. When I try to have

Annihilata, I don't think that is the problem. I stumbled across this page while looking for a solution to the same problem. My monitor is set to the native resolution of 1600x900, yet the picture is distorted. It is particularly noticeable with small type, which appears compressed in some areas and stretched in others. I have tried updating and reinstalling the drivers with no success. Then, miraculously the problem seemed to fix itself one day between when I logged off and my GF logged in. Everything remained in the proper proportion for a day, and then as mysteriously as the problem had fixed itself it occured again. The display settings have remained constant the entire time.

SOURCE: HP 2009m OSD menu flashing

Sounds like you may have another problem, that's blowing your monitors, apparently something is shorting your system.
I surly hope you are running through a good quality surge suppressor.
Don't spare any expense on your surge suppressor.
A back up power supply is recommend if yu are subject to occasional blackouts.

SOURCE: Help my hp 2009m monitor

A professional TV/video repair-person knows how to open it, how to order the correct replacement part, and how to reassemble and test it. This is not a "do-it-self" repair, like changing batteries in a flash-light.

Wireless Connection possible? If so how?

To me, it appears that the HP 2009m is only a monitor, see:
HP Pavilion 2009m Monitor Product Specifications and notice it has no wireless capability. Sometimes I have seen people use the model number off the monitor for the computer's model number. Take a look at the computer itself and look for a model number. I'm assuming you have a desktop, and not all desktops have built-in wireless. If it does, you should have a Wireless Network icon in the lower right of your display in the Notification Area by the Clock. But it would help to know your computer's actual model number as there are several scenarios to remedy your issue and I would rather focus on just one.

I would buy a new monitor. Unless you have some prior experience with replacing screens, the labor outweighs the price of a new monitor.

Hp 2009m wont turn on and power button flashes.

Hello Robert,

This is a very common symptom of a failure of the capacitors in the power supply board. If you can do a little soldering then you can repair the unit. The model can use two different power supply boards so to get you the correct information I will need a little more information. If you want to do the repair yourself give me a call at 318-447-9040 and I will help you get it going again.
