Ive just replaced the fork seals on my non ABS 1990 st and noticed that one fork leg rebounds faster than the other. Is this correct and is this why the fork legs are of different inners?

Uneven rebound is caused by unequal volumes of damping oil in the legs or a broken or weak spring. Not sure why one inner tube is different, but it may mean the quantity of oil differs in the left and right forks?

What does "reset the mount of the YO" mean when decreasing for the heel of a sock

Check out this webpage: http://nonaknits.typepad.com/nonaknits/2005/04/yarn_over_short.html

"Correct the mount of the yarn over. If you're wondering what the hell, "correct the mount" means, let nona fill you in. A stitch is properly mounted if its right leg is in the front of the needle and its left leg in in back. Look at your yarn over -- see how its left leg is in front of the needle? Simple turn the yarn over around so its right leg is in front. Easy!"

I don't understand this row...increase pattern worked over 4 stunt he's as follows: KFB 1st st, KFB 2nd st, K1, KFB 4th st, repeat this increase pattern to end.

Kfb means you are going to k the stich and before you pull it off of your left needle take the right needle and bring it to the back and under the yarn and knit it again. You will make two stitches from the one.

2001 Triumph Sprint ST 955i, there is excessive heat coming up from the engine on the right hand side. It is so hot that it burned my inner thigh of my right leg. It occurs during highway driving. The...

This is a common problem with this bike, and does not mean that the engine is overheating.Go to www.triumphnet.com and click on the "mods" link for a solution.
They show photos of the modification which basically consists of installing a mesh screen on the inside of the fairing to channel the heat away from your leg. Also the upper fairing vent is enlarged to aid heat disipation.
