Question about Mitsubishi WT-42311 42" Rear Projection Television
I recently inherited a Mitsubishi WT-42311 and want to hook my x-box 360 up to it. Currently, I am running the 360 by HDMI to a Rocketfish HDMI-DVI adapter and into the TV from there. However, this is only giving me 480/480i instead of 1080i. Is there anything I can do to correct this?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Your access should be a a panel near the back or side. You will see that it is somewhat easily removed and should have maybe one or two screws. You will see the casing to the lamp. Go ahead and remove it. Now unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one. There is not a lot of screws holding it together. It's a fairly easy process once you find the lamp. You should see the lamp once the panel is removed.

2,2 IS short protection and 95% chance it means one of the two pico fuses that protect the convergence IC chips are bad.
This model uses two of the chips: STK-392-110 and you would have to pull the light box out to replace them safely (total parts cost will be under 30 dollars).
It involves getting at the chips and the fuses and replacing them: how much skill do you have?

SOURCE: I have a 2002 Mitsubishi
I have a 2005 rear projection mitsubishi medallion hd tv.... for some reason the hd channels do not look as HD as they used to... I went to my cable company and got a new cable box... but it is still not a crisp as it used to be. Could it be the settings on the cable box, settings on the tv or could something have gone bad in the tv?
