The driver of my dvd is not there my dvd is not

The drivers for e-IDE and IDE drives are built into all operating systems. If your drive is not showing up in your My Computer window, then the problem is most likely not a driver issue, but either a bad drive (sometimes happens), or a bad connection.

Double check the IDE ribbons that connect your device to the motherboard and restart the computer.

However, if your system is using SATA connections, you may actually have a driver issue. It is unlikely, however, that a driver issue with a SATA connection would "occur" after you had been using it. If you recently installed the drive via SATA and you hadn't had a SATA driver previously, then you may have a driver issue. You can check for drivers from the manufacturer's website (of the DVD drive).
